The six weeks or so since the makers of the hit adventure anime “Black Clover” put a halt on the action have felt like an eternity after the nearly continual stream of magical escapades since the series began.
The cliffhanger ending of Season 4 teased a “major announcement” in the near future, leaving viewers wondering what Season 5 has in store. I’m curious as to when we’ll be able to really see it.
In 2017, the show, adapted from a manga series by Yki Tabata, exploded onto television screens throughout the world. Fans of “Black Clover” will know that, unlike many other popular anime, its protagonist does not possess any supernatural abilities.
Asta, the protagonist, is born without any magical abilities in a world where such things are commonplace. With his boyhood friend and powerful wind magician Yuno by his side, he battles through the show’s fantastical world in an attempt to become the Wizard King.
Because of its compelling underdog story, the show was ranked among Crunchyroll’s top 100 anime of the decade. Although a fifth season has not been officially confirmed, praise like this is encouraging for the show’s future.

When can We Expect to See the Premiere of Season 5 of Black Clover?
Since its premiere on TV Tokyo, a Japanese television network, in October 2017, “Black Clover” has made significant progress. Season one aired in October 2017 and season two followed in October 2018, both with a whopping 51 episodes. Season 3 was due in October 2019, but was delayed until July 2020 because of the epidemic.

Since her feelings for Asta in Kana Yki’s Noelle Silva haven’t been fully expressed, she’ll likely return as a potential love interest.
Without spoiling too much for those who haven’t caught up on the series, we can safely say that Asta’s shaky friend Leibe will have more to do in the future as well, giving Kenichiro Matsuda and Nobuhiko Okamoto additional opportunities to use their voices.
Black Clover’s character roster is huge, and fans of the show and the massive manga that inspired it will attest to that.
The web story arcs they are a part of further expand the potential protagonists and antagonists, as well as the roles they could play. But which of these tangled threads can we count on being continued?

In addition, Yki Tabata’s manga is continuously being updated, so there is plenty of room for the anime to go in whichever direction the creators want.
