The CW has decided not to renew the show for a sixth season. The series’ fifth and final season aired from April 18, 2018, until August 1, 2018.

Each new season delves deeper into the mystery of the vampire family’s origins and involves supernatural politics and family strife. Despite being a spin-off, this show is very good.
