Season 2 of Carnival Row will most likely premiere following Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. That puts its arrival no sooner than November of 2022 at the earliest.
The Amazon Prime Video series Carnival Row is set in a fantastical world. The show features a dystopian past reminiscent of Victorian era. There are both humans and legendary humanoid beings coexisting in the setting of the programme.
They are now refugees in this metropolis, having escaped their war-torn homelands. There are interpersonal problems as a result, just as there would be with any community of people from different backgrounds who were forced to live together.

Is Season 2 of Carnival Row in the Works?
Amazon has ordered a second season of Carnival Row. There are three big continents and several species in this world, and they are all at odds with one another. Within these dimensions is where you’ll find the thriving neighbourhood of Carnival Row. There have been a lot of killings, some of which are depicted in the beginning of the series.
Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate, a human detective, creates a case that may or may not involve a faerie named Vignette. Many different Faerish nations and kingdoms can be found on the continent of Tirnanoc.
Short story Stonemoss aids fae people in boarding a ship to flee the pact’s occupation of the fae homeland. However, a storm at sea destroys the ship, leaving only Vignette alive. Ezra Spurnrose, who lives with his sister Imogen in a posh section of the Burgue, is the ship’s owner.
Since the hurricane caused him to lose a lot of money, he plans on having Vignette serve as his sister Imogen’s maid. If you travel to Carnival Row, you might run into your old buddy Toumaline, who is now a prostitute, and she might tell you that your beloved Philo is still alive and well.
Most of the show’s main characters are a mix of human and fae, and they reside in Burgue, which appears to be a safe haven for Faer refugees. However, it does not offer them with a good life because they are forced to work in low-paying service occupations and are subjected to severe prejudice on a daily basis.
Jonah, the new ‘acting’ chancellor, has declared war on all ‘non-humans,’ and conditions in the city have never been worse.
“Carnival Row Season 2”: Release Date
Amazon Prime’s list of forthcoming TV series and movies for August 2022 does not include Carnival Row season 2. There were initial reports of an August release, but it appears that fans will be waiting quite some time.
Following the established pattern, the premiere of the first season occurred 17 months after filming had concluded. If the second season follows the same schedule, it would premiere in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Season 2 of Carnival Row: What to Expect?
Although the second season’s plot summary has not yet been made public, the first season’s cliffhanger suggests that the theme of separation will be explored further.
In the season one finale, the government issued a decree separating “magical” beings from the rest of society. Philo, realising this is the end of his time with Vignette, announces that he, too, is a fae and moves into the ghetto with her.
However, Agreus and Imogen sailed away to a safer spot and now refuse to return to the city even though the authorities have ordered them to do so.
Actress Tamzin Merchant, who played the role of Imogen, hinted at what’s to come for her character in an interview, saying that the scene of Argeus and Imogen boarding the ship in the season finale will be great for the first five minutes of season 2.

All things considered, it’s safe to assume that the pair will adopt a riskier approach to overcoming the challenges they’ll inevitably encounter, and that their storyline may eventually converge with that of the vignette and Philo.
