Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is popularly known for his character Harry Potter, the role played by him in the Harry Potter series novel written by J. K. Rowling. His acting career started at a very early age at 10 and debuted in the BBC One film David Copperfield.

Early Life
Radcliffe was born on 23 July 1989 at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in Hammersmith in London, England to Marcia Jeannine Gresham and Alan George Radcliffe, an only child.
His mother emerges from a Jewish ancestry whereas on his other side his father belonged from a Northern Irish, Protestant family in Banbridge.
Though Radcliffe was never interested in studies, he believed it to be useless. He completed his schooling at three different schools – London: Redcliffe School, Sussex House School, and the City of London School.
After the release of the Harry Potter series, it was hard for him to cope up with his studies, managed it with the help of personal tutors in sets and in 2006 he scored A grades in the three AS level exams.

2001-2011: Harry Potter
By 2000, after several auditions, director Chris Columbus finalized Radcliffe for the role of Harry Potter. Even the writer herself, J.K. Rowling praised him stating, “I don’t think Chris Columbus could have found a better Harry”.
The very first series of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released in 2001, which gave Radcliffe tremendous appreciation, and critics took notice of him.
As the year passed by, the J.K. Rowling novel was covered by releasing 8 films in its complete series, and Radcliffe played the role of Harry for a long 10 years. He succeeded in banging many awards for his acting in the Harry Potter series.
2010- present

He’s been in a relationship with Eric Darke since 2012. Radcliffe revealed that he’s suffering from neurological disorder dyspraxia, which created issues for him while performing a few activities.
He even expressed that he’s fond of rap music. Though he belonged to two ancestors, he was proud to be Jewish.
